Registration Categories
The CPR is a voluntary professional register that recognises training, competence, and professional conduct in the care and support sector. It welcomes care and support professionals at all stages of their careers. To reflect the diversity of experience and development within the sector, the CPR offer three registration categories.
- Foundation
This category is for individuals who are new to social care or at an early stage of their career and have completed basic or Introductory training. It recognises those who are building their skills and gaining practical experience. - Intermediate
This category is for professionals who have completed all their mandatory training. It recognises individuals who have built a solid foundation of knowledge and skills and who continue to pursue professional development and career progression. - Advanced
This category is for experienced care professionals who have completed mandatory training, undertaken additional Continuing Professional Development (CPD), and hold further vocational or educational qualifications. It recognises individuals with advanced expertise and commitment to ongoing professional growth.
Whatever your level of experience, joining the CPR lets you show your commitment to safe, high quality care and professional standards.
